I work on Visual Intelligence [VI], this is an area of study that ceaselessly involves ideas from Deep Learning [DL], Artificial General Intelligence [AGI], Computer Vision [CV] and Pattern Recognition [PR]. I work on different Deep learning models specifically the ones incorporating ideas in Discriminative Modeling such as Convolutional Neural Networks, Bayesian Neural Networks, Unsupervised and Semi supervised Learning, Clustering as well as Generative Modeling such as different variants of Autoencoders and Generative Adversarial Networks. My research endeavors are focused on solving the core problems in computer vision like Semantic Segmentation, Object Detection, Instance Segmentation, Object Localization, Classification, Pose estimation, Image Captioning, Virtual Question Answering, Alternate Reality Generation. Apart from visual data, I have also been working on generating sound from silent videos using different machine learning techniques, while another project of mine aims to eliminate noise while conversing over mobile phones using deep learning.
Sharif Amit Kamran
An avid computer vision enthusiast and deep learning researcher. Making deep convolutional neural nets for supervised Image recognition task like classification, detection, and segmentation. Having expertise in deep learning framework such as Caffe, TensorFlow, Theano. Preferred programming languages are Python, Java, and C++ along with Bash for auxiliary works and writing scripts.

Md. Asif Bin Khaled
My fundamental research interests are in the fields of machine learning and data mining. Particularly I am focused on supervised and unsupervised deep learning models. My Preferred programming languages are Java, Python, C/C++. I have also worked with frameworks like Tensorflow and Caffe.
Sabrina M. Elias

Bioinformatics, big data analysis, genomics, transcriptomics and phenomics. Worked as team member in genome sequencing projects of Jute and Bangladeshi rice varieties. Currently working on salt tolerance of rice plant utilizing bioinformatics in collaboration with University of Dhaka as well as microbial genomics.

Dr. Ferdows Zahid

Dr. Zahid received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. His Ph.D. supervisor was Prof. Supriyo Datta. For his postdoctoral studies, he worked with Prof. Hong Guo at McGill University. Prof. Guo is one of the topmost computational physicists in the world. Several cutting edge software packages for high-performance computation have come out from Prof. Guo’s group.
Dr. Mahbub Murshed

Dr. Mahbub Murshed received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea in 2012. His works have been published in several top-tier journals and conferences including the IEEE Transactions and the IEEE conferences. His research interest includes video surveillance, motion detection and tracking, pattern classification and medical image processing.
