CUDA® is a parallel computing platform and programming model invented by NVIDIA. It enables dramatic increases in computing performance by harnessing the power of the graphics processing unit (GPU). With millions of CUDA-enabled GPUs sold to date, software developers, scientists and researchers are finding broad-ranging uses for GPU computing with CUDA.
Center for Cognitive Skill Development (CCSE) has recently arranged a three day long training on Parallel Computing with CUDA from 12th to 14th August 2016. The goal was to achieve required familiarisation with CUDA language and GPU based computation. CCSE invited Mr. Suresh Motumarri as the trainer for the training. The program was conducted for 20 participants including the Asst. Professors, Centre heads, directors, graduation and post-graduation students from IUB. They were keenly observed the whole course and gave feedback and inputs o make the training program more effective.
